Wedding Flowers

While I did two different weddings this month, you'll notice that there are lots of similarities. The "mango" color mini calla lillies were used in both. However the rose colors were different.  Here the roses are "burnt coffee" color and the ones below in the bridesmaids' bouquets are called "circus" for a brighter punch.

I was so busy with weddings that I didn't have time to take a lot of pictures.  I even forgot to take pictures of boutonnieres and brides' bouquets!  But I loved a few things: The heart that I made with the gold wire ... and the bridesmaids' bouquets below.

And then for the reception...I'll have better pictures when the wedding pics come back.

There are roses, and then there are roses

Just look at how these roses have opened.  I must say "wow, how beautiful," a hundred times a day as I pass by any of these arrangements.  And what's even more amazing, they change by the hour, minute, night, moment...

The Right Roses Can Make All the Difference

At was at the market yesterday late and just grabbed two bunches of roses off of the rack before they were being put away.  i hardly looked at them except to notice the color. Look at how beautiful these look just simply by themselves in a wide mouth vase, leaning out toward all corners of the room.  More pictures as they continues to open.

A Review of Taller Arrangements Throughout the Year

Looking back at some of my taller arrangements this year...these aren't the tallest, but some fun designs for larger spaces.  I have a few upcoming events where I need to create the illusion that the room is "more full" than it is.  Get it?  Well, enough words, here's the eye candy.
