More loft party pictures from Jill's shindig

Jill's Dining Table

Ever wonder what to do with those skinny single-flower vases?  Well here's a new twist.

June Party Flowers

Many more pictures to come, but here is one tricky arrangement (getting everything to stand up...I did put sticky stuff in the bottom but even that didn't hold as well as I had hoped...)

Experimenting with the latest in spring flowers

First, I couldn't resist buying several bunches of lilies of the valley.  They were my mother's favorite flowers. When she got married, she carried a small bouquet, just like this, up the aisle.

And then, I found the most glorious, perfect bunch of lilacs every.  And so I have lilacs everywhere.  Of course, they are terrific by themselves.
But they are also nice with some roses for color and some greens.

I had fun experimenting with a few other things.  One arrangement I gave to Tracy Anderson Studio's front desk.  It probably won't last long in the humidity there, but I sure love looking at these when I'm dancing!

Spring Preview Flower

I've been a bit absent here as I'm just back from spring break with the kids and other obligations with my internet company HitTail (http://www.hittail.com/).  Tonight was a spring fling soiree at Featherstone Design Jewelry Studio (Deirdre and crew: wow, wow jewelry; check it out http://www.featherstonedesign.com/) which was fabulous and without further words, here are the photos of my arrangements for the evening.  Enjoy!

Even Dead Flowers Can Look Fabulous

So here are the spray roses that I prepared for Deirdre's jewelry showing almost one month ago!  How beautiful are these flowers dead!  I am shocked actually.  She did nothing with them.  I am learning that I am pretty good at picking out flowers (especially winter ones) that last for weeks and weeks and look perfectly fresh, dead.

Spring Flowers. Period.

I went into major orange and yellow flower mode this week.  After I arranged everything, I realized how much I missed all the other colors!  I was sorry I didn't get any deep purples or blues.  I guess I was needing sunshine.  Here are some spring arrangements.
